Introduction.
The hub of creativity at Asuransi Astra! Innovate is an exclusive platform designed for our internal Asuransi Astra staff, empowering them to bring their ideas to life. Through a streamlined 3-step form submission process, innovators can pitch their concepts, with each stage requiring approval before progressing. The website not only hosts essential information about upcoming events related to Innovate but also features a comprehensive library showcasing past projects.
In this innovative space, there are three key roles: Innovators, the brilliant minds behind the ideas, whether individual or collaborative teams; Facilitators, experienced guides who assist and advise innovators throughout the process; and Management, the discerning decision-makers responsible for accepting, rejecting, or suggesting revisions for innovator projects.

Problems That We Need to Solve.
Problem 1: Inefficient Idea Management
The current innovation process lacks a user-friendly digital platform, leading to complexities in idea submission, tracking, and collaboration.
Problem 2: Poor Communication
Limited and unclear communication channels hinder effective feedback exchange between innovators, facilitators, and management, causing delays and misunderstandings.
Problem 3: Ineffective Project Showcase
The existing system fails to showcase past projects comprehensively, hindering the learning and inspiration process for new innovators.
Problem 4: Lack of Collaboration Tools
Innovators struggle to collaborate seamlessly, hampering teamwork and hindering the collaborative potential of the staff.
Problem 5: Absence of Clear Submission Path
Ambiguities in the submission process create confusion, leading to potential loss of innovative ideas and demotivating staff from active participation.

Process.
Project Timeline Overview.
From July to October, my team and I embarked on a structured journey to revamp the Innovate website. In the initial month, we engaged with stakeholders, understanding their needs and pinpointing areas for improvement. Following this, we meticulously defined the problems, gathered user insights, and identified essential features. This groundwork laid the foundation for our design process.
Moving into the second month, our focus intensified on designing the platform, delving deep into creating a user-friendly interface. As the design took shape, we paid special attention to mobile responsiveness, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. During the final weeks of our timeline, we conducted rigorous usability testing involving innovators, facilitators, and management, refining our design based on their feedback.
Post-testing, we presented our findings to the stakeholders, leading to insightful discussions and necessary revisions. Once these revisions were incorporated, we collaborated closely with the development team, providing them with comprehensive design documentation. This smooth transition ensured a seamless handoff, aligning our design vision with the development process. Through this collaborative and iterative approach, we successfully transformed Innovate into a user-centric and innovative platform, ready to empower Asuransi Astra staff.

Design.
There were two main interfaces for the product, landing page and job portal. Landing page is a collection of information designed to capture the attention and interest of potential new customers. Job portal serves as a platform for you to find both candidates for job positions and employment opportunities. One of the challenges in defining and designing a job portal is meeting the detailed requirements of Japanese companies, particularly regarding documentation aspects.

Reflections.
During the project to revamp the Arka Learn website as a UI/UX designer, I had the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge to improve the platform's overall user experience and visual appeal. As I reflect on this experience, several key takeaways come to mind.
