The Otosales Transformation project was a collaborative effort aimed at revolutionizing our internal sales, management processes and customer satisfaction & engagement. Our team undertook a comprehensive redesign of the Otosales platform, focusing on enhancing user satisfaction and operational efficiency. The project involved the meticulous analysis of user needs and business requirements, leading to strategic changes in the platform's interface and functionality. Key features such as premi simulation capabilities, dealer and customer deal tracking, incentive management, service network mapping, order approval systems, and comprehensive dashboards were implemented to streamline sales operations. The revamped platform catered to various organizational roles, ensuring tailored and efficient user experiences for each team member. The successful execution of the Otosales Transformation project has not only optimized sales interactions but also empowered our sales teams, paving the way for enhanced productivity and future growth.

In the revamped Otosales experience, our team has embarked on a transformative journey to redefine our internal sales and management processes. As a dedicated UI/UX designer contributing to this initiative, my role has been to enhance the user interface and streamline user interactions within Otosales.

This redesign is more than just a visual upgrade. t represents a strategic effort to simplify complex sales workflows, ensuring an intuitive and efficient user experience. By collaborating closely with the team, I've worked on crafting an interface that not only meets but exceeds user expectations, making Otosales a tool that empowers our teams and enhances overall operational effectiveness. This project signifies a collective effort to elevate Otosales into a user-friendly, high-performance platform that supports our sales endeavors seamlessly.

Process.

Method.

Sprints are time-boxed periods of one week, during which a product owner, scrum master, and scrum team work to complete a specific product addition. During a sprint, work is done to create new features based on the user stories and backlog. A new sprint starts immediately after the current sprint ends.

Project Timeline Overview.

In the project timeline utilizing the sprint method, we've outlined a comprehensive plan for the redesign of Otosales.

During the first sprint (Week 1), my focus will be on designing the Service Network feature, involving research, wireframing, and initial designs, followed by stakeholder feedback sessions.

Moving into the second sprint (Week 2), the project will transition into building the platform's basic structure, incorporating the Service Network design, and integrating key components such as the Product Knowledge section and an informative banner for announcements.

Sprint 3 (Week 3) will involve implementing the Premi Simulation feature and developing tailored dashboards for Account Officers and Branch Managers, ensuring relevant data visualization and managerial tools are in place.

Sprint 4 (Week 4) will refine the skeleton pages, ensuring consistent layout and conducting usability testing for optimal user experience.

Sprint 5 (Week 5) will focus on enhancing the Product Knowledge section by adding interactive features, followed by user acceptance testing.

Sprint 6 (Week 6) will see the implementation of the Tasklist feature and further customization of the Service Network based on user feedback and real-world scenarios.

Finally, Sprint 7 (Week 7) will concentrate on customizing search functionality, implementing advanced filters, and collaborating with a copywriter to refine and optimize all textual content for clarity and coherence throughout the platform. This structured timeline ensures a methodical and iterative approach to the redesign process, with each sprint building upon the progress made in the preceding ones.

Old Design.

The previous design of Otosales was severely outdated and inefficient, causing significant usability issues for our users. Its antiquated interface not only looked unappealing but also hindered the overall user experience. Navigating through the platform was cumbersome, leading to frustration among users trying to perform even the simplest tasks. Outmoded design elements not only failed to engage users visually but also failed to accommodate the evolving needs of our sales teams.

Recognizing these shortcomings, the decision to overhaul the design was imperative. The goal was to transform Otosales into a modern, user-friendly, and visually appealing platform that not only met contemporary design standards but also prioritized seamless user interactions. Through this redesign, we aimed to not just fix the shortcomings of the old design but to create an entirely new and improved experience for our users, setting a new standard for usability and aesthetics.
